The Statue of Liberty is one of the most famous landmarks in the United States and a worldwide symbol of freedom and democracy. The monumental statue was designed by French sculptor Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi and dedicated on October 28, 1886, on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. With a total height of nearly 93 meters, "Lady Liberty" has been welcoming visitors and immigrants arriving in New York by sea for over a century.

New York City Hall is the oldest continuously used city hall in the United States and houses the offices of the Mayor and the New York City Council. Built between 1803 and 1812, the building is located in City Hall Park in Lower Manhattan. With its blend of French Renaissance and Georgian architecture, the City Hall is one of the city's most significant historical buildings.
