The art concept ART-DOMINO® was founded in 2009 by Sabine Welz and has been continuously developed ever since. However, the artist has always focused on telling individual stories and capturing special memories with her pictures.
ART-DOMINO® is a family-run business: since 2024, Sabine Welz has been working with her daughter Lisa Schwiesselmann on interior projects and new products and creations.
Each city included in the ART-DOMINO® concept has been personally visited by the artist Sabine Welz. The portfolio now includes more than 140 cities worldwide.
The basis for her motifs, city and country portraits, are always photographs she has taken herself. Sabine Welz lives and loves being on the go – travel is the greatest inspiration for her artworks and design work.
Through travel, we overcome distances, both temporal and spatial, and gain new experiences. We discover other countries and cultures, learn customs and peculiarities, and find commonalities and differences. What remains after every journey: An emotional connection and memory.
All pictures and porcelain designs are created in Berlin by Sabine Welz and produced in Germany.

Our ART-DOMINO® aluminum Dibond pictures lend every room a particularly elegant touch. The colored motifs are printed on a plate of horizontally brushed aluminum. Depending on the light incidence, this material captivates with its glossy surface in gold or silver with special reflections. This special effect is particularly effective on light and white image areas, while the matte surfaces receive their finish thanks to state-of-the-art 7-color printing.
