Skyline (right)
The New York City skyline is one of the most famous cityscapes in the world. It is characterized by numerous skyscrapers that rise along the island of Manhattan and reflect the development of modern high-rise architecture. The skyline is particularly impressive at night, when landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and One World Trade Center transform the city into a spectacular sea of lights.
