Lesser Town Bridge Tower (left)
The Lesser Town Bridge Tower, located at the western end of Charles Bridge, was built in the 15th century and, together with an older tower, forms the entrance to Prague's Lesser Town. Its late Gothic architecture is inspired by the Old Town Bridge Tower on the opposite side of the Vltava River. Its viewing gallery offers an impressive view of Charles Bridge and the Old Town.
Astronomical Clock (right)
The Prague Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Hall was built in 1410 and is one of the oldest still-functioning astronomical clocks in the world. In addition to the time, it also displays astronomical data and delights visitors daily with its famous hourly show of figures. This intricate clock is considered a masterpiece of medieval engineering and is one of Prague's most famous attractions.
