Gardens by the Bay (left)
Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore's most spectacular park complexes, stretching over 101 hectares directly on Marina Bay. Especially famous are the futuristic Supertrees, giant artificial tree structures that provide shade during the day and glow in colorful light shows at night. The complex is complemented by the impressive conservatories Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. The park combines nature, technology, and architecture and is now considered a symbol of Singapore's vision of a "City in a Garden."
Old Customs House (right)
The historic Customs House on Collyer Quay is one of the older buildings on Marina Bay, built in the late 1960s. It formerly served as the headquarters of the customs authority and a checkpoint for port trade. Today, the building is a popular meeting point with restaurants and bars and offers direct views of Marina Bay Sands. It uniquely connects Singapore's history with its modern waterfront.
