Marina Bay is the modern heart of Singapore and one of the metropolis's newest districts. The area largely came into being through land reclamation and, in just a few decades, developed into a world-renowned center for architecture, entertainment, and luxury. It is home to numerous landmarks such as the Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, and Marina Bay Sands. The bay is also particularly known as the venue for the nocturnal Formula 1 Grand Prix, which spectacularly showcases the skyline every year.

Marina Bay Sands is one of Singapore's most famous buildings and one of the most impressive hotel complexes in the world. The three 55-story towers are connected by a huge rooftop terrace, which houses the famous infinity pool and the Sands SkyPark. Since its opening in 2010, the resort has shaped the city's skyline and stands for luxury, innovation, and modern design. With its hotel, casino, shopping mall, and museum, it is now one of Asia's largest tourist centers.
