Gardens by the Bay (left)
Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most spectacular park complexes, stretching over 101 hectares right on Marina Bay. It is most famous for its futuristic Supertrees, giant artificial tree structures that provide shade during the day and glow in colourful light shows at night. The complex is complemented by the impressive Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories. The park combines nature, technology, and architecture and is now considered a symbol of Singapore’s vision of a "City in a Garden".
Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (right)
The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is one of Singapore’s most famous temples, located in the heart of Chinatown. This imposing temple was built in the traditional Tang Dynasty style and opened in 2007. Inside, a sacred tooth relic of Buddha is preserved, which gives the temple its name. In addition to magnificent prayer halls, the temple also houses a museum with valuable Buddhist artworks. It is considered a significant spiritual and cultural centre of Singapore.
