Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore's most spectacular park complexes, spanning 101 hectares directly on Marina Bay. The futuristic Supertrees are particularly famous – enormous artificial tree structures that provide shade during the day and are illuminated by colourful light shows at night. The complex is complemented by the impressive Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories. The park combines nature, technology, and architecture and is now considered a symbol of Singapore's vision of a "City in a Garden".

The Singapore Flyer is one of Singapore's most famous landmarks and, at 165 meters high, is one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world. When it opened in 2008, it was even the tallest Ferris wheel worldwide. With its 28 capsules, it offers a breathtaking view of the skyline, Marina Bay, and far beyond the city-state. Today, the Singapore Flyer is one of Singapore's most popular attractions and symbolises the modern and futuristic side of the metropolis.
